Take NASA's Orion Space plane to Washington DC Mall
Washington DC - Recently, NASA announced that they will bring full-scale mockup of the Orion spacecraft to National Mall in Washington DC. Vehicles with a length of about 45 feet was planned to be placed on semi-trailer that was parked between 4 to 7 area of the road in front of the mall. This special event will be held at 10am. Orion is the vehicle that will take crews into the NASA lunar mission scheduled to be conducted in the year 2000.Crew-crew of the Orion spacecraft will be moved to the Ares I Rocket (image: third from left), and will begin to be implemented in 2015. Ares is a fairly lightweight vehicle. The Ares V Rocket (pictured: right) will be able to lift heavy objects into orbit where the spacecraft's crew team will continue to moon in 2020. This vehicle (picture: left) The earliest use was in 1970.
According to NASA "The design of the spacecraft is in order for the examination at the Naval Surface Warfare Center's Carderock Division in Bethesda that will open a water test on the Atlantic coast at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The goal of surgery is known Post-Recovery Test Orion landing, or PORT, is to determine the type of movement that is expected to do after landing the crew space, as well as outside conditions for the recovery team.
NASA engineers and personnel will be available all day on the National Mall event to answer questions about the crew and the constellation of Orion program.
Orion began aimed to bring men to the International Space Station in 2015 and 2020 on the moon. Along with Ares I and Ares V rockets and the Altair lunar lander, is part of a growing constellation of programs in the country next to the ability of human exploration on the moon and further goals in the solar system.
